2. Hosting
Based on current information, this website is hosted by Hostinger. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data such as IP address, date and time of access, requested file, referrer, browser type and operating system. This processing is necessary for secure and stable website operation.
3. Email contact
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message content and technical email metadata in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies.
4. Local-first product processing
DLPShield is designed as a local-first product. Sensitive content such as text, prompts or file content is intended to be processed in the browser or on the endpoint. This privacy policy covers the website; production customer systems may require separate agreements and technical documentation.
5. Appointment booking with Calendly
On the demo page, an appointment calendar provided by Calendly, LLC can be loaded after active consent. A connection to Calendly is established only after clicking "Load calendar". Calendly may process the IP address, browser information and data entered during booking. The legal basis for loading the embedded calendar is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Alternatively, Calendly can be opened through an external link. Calendly's privacy information also applies.
6. Analytics and advertising
The website currently does not set its own tracking cookies or use advertising networks. External services are integrated only as described in this policy.
7. Language preference
A technical entry in the browser's local storage may be used to remember the selected language. This is used only to display the website in the selected language.
8. Retention
Contact requests are stored only as long as necessary to handle the request and meet legal retention duties. Technical server logs are stored according to the hosting provider's settings and only as long as required.
9. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
